Bulgaria announced that it has put 11 countries, including Turkey, on the red list.

 

The Bulgarian Ministry of Health put 11 countries, including Turkey, on the red list, within the scope of Covid-19 epidemic measures, and stopped the entries from these countries.

According to the regulation published on the website of the Bulgarian Ministry of Health, in addition to Turkey, Austria, North Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary, Luxembourg, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon were included in the red list.

Entries suspended

As of February 19, entry to Bulgaria has been stopped for those coming from these countries, excluding transit passes.

Bulgarian citizens, residence permit holders, EU citizens from European Union (EU) countries, medical officers, humanitarians, official delegation members, seasonal workers, people with special permission by the Ministry of Health and students will be exempt from the restrictions.

According to the news in Sputnik, Bulgarian citizens and those who have a residence permit in the country have to present a valid vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test performed at the latest 72 hours before the trip in order not to be subject to quarantine on their return from the red list countries.

Children aged 12-18 coming from the countries on the red list will be able to enter the country with a negative PCR test, while those who do not have the test will be quarantined for 10 days. Children under the age of 12 will be excluded from the rule.
