We are having a successful season.

Stating that after a successful tourism season, the faces are smiling, Governor Yazıcı said; “I am very happy to be together with tourism representatives in this beautiful event organized by AKTOB. We are proud, happy and smiling. We are having a successful season. This is thanks to you. I congratulate our industry stakeholders and wish them continued success. While our guests who visited our city left here happy thanks to the quality services you provided, we also gained an important reference for the future. As a city, we are a city that makes serious contributions to the country's economy and has a serious responsibility in the country's economy. We do this properly. We gave confidence to the tourists who will visit our city, especially with the safe tourism certificate we have implemented during the pandemic period. And that laid the foundation for our success this year.” said.

This year we reaped the fruits of the patience we planted.

Emphasizing that the success in tourism in 2022 is the fruit of the patience planted in 2020, Governor Yazıcı said; “Imagine such a city that is the favorite of the Mediterranean dish, it has gone beyond world standards with the service it provides. In its heyday, it hosted more than 15 million tourists. But after an epidemic that affected the whole world, the number of tourists coming to the city suddenly dropped to 3.5 million. The same problems were experienced in all tourism cities. However, we hosted all our guests, even if they were in small numbers, by offering the superior service quality we always offer. Our name has spread all over the world with our word-of-mouth quality and safe tourism certificate, and thankfully we have come to these days.” he said.

Tourism made our citizens of Antalya smile

Pointing out that the cessation of tourism in Antalya affects all business lines in the city, Governor Yazıcı said; “As the Governor, I am trying to come together with our agriculture, industry, small traders and tradesmen. I love being on the field and I care. Everywhere I stubbornly and persistently say this. This is a world city, whatever you do, make it world class. I came to Antalya, the world's paradise, in June 2020. I told my state elders who asked about Antalya during the pandemic period, that the morale of the city was low. Not only you, but also ordinary citizens were depressed. Because this is a world city, this is a city that hosts millions of guests and lives with them. Deprived of it, the morale of the entire city fell. This year, the morale of our city is very good. Thank you again. Thanks to you, we are in good spirits. May Allah not spoil our beauty. God forbid. We will continue to work and strive to offer the best together. I believe that 2023 tourism season will be better than 2022. This city will continue to produce world-class goods and services, especially for tourism professionals. I wish you all good health and success.” said. After his speech, AKTOB President Erkan Yağcı presented a gift to Governor Ersin Yazıcı.
